Professional Affiliations: Mr. Elder has served on executive management teams of three community financial institutions over the past 20 years. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both the State of North Carolina and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Mr. Elder has formerly served on various not-for-profit Boards in the Triangle Region of North Carolina and is currently a member of the Beaufort County Committee of 100. Mr. Elder resides in Chocowinity, NC with his wife Sherry and their two dogs. The Elders have three adult sons, but are currently empty nesters. Bruce enjoys boating, wakeboarding, golf and tennis.
